Written by LINE Fukuoka Press | Aug 12, 2021 12:00:00 AM

[Notice] Effective October 1, 2023, LINE Fukuoka has changed its company name to LY Communications. Articles published on or before September 30, 2023 were written with our former company name.

LINE Fukuoka has been pursuing internal digital transformation (DX) utilizing technology such as AI, IoT, and RPA. As part of this initiative, the company has developed a workload prediction* system that utilizes AI, simplifying the process of prediction (which usually requires advanced prediction skills, experience, effort, and time) and allowing anyone to make highly accurate predictions quickly even if they’re inexperienced.

* Workload prediction: Predicting the amount of inquiries in customer care and similar such operations based on past performance and the latest trends. Using the prediction, supervisors can come up with the number of staff needed in total or for particular shifts.

The AI-based workload prediction system was featured in the August issue of Zaikai Kyushu.
