    [Notice] Effective October 1, 2023, LINE Fukuoka has changed its company name to LY Communications. Articles published on or before September 30, 2023 were written with our former company name.

     LINE Fukuoka received the Silver Award in the Web/App Based Internal Communication Division at "Internal Communication Awards 2021," an event held by the Internal Communication Research Institute at wis works, Inc. each year to celebrate internal communication.

    Winning project : The "Discussing the Past Seven Years and the Future of LINE Fukuoka" project entry

    This project was planned in November 2020 to mark LINE Fukuoka celebrating its 7th anniversary, and a total of seven interviews were conducted. We interviewed roughly 30 company leaders about the company's trajectory at a time when it was facing major changes (such as the COVID-19 pandemic and business integration with Z Holdings) and released the interviews on our owned media.


    Project background

    In addition to major changes to our working arrangements due to the pandemic, LINE Fukuoka was also preparing for the business integration with Z Holdings in March 2021, so some employees were uneasy about the company's future.

    On the other hand, LINE Fukuoka has rapidly expanded in the seven years since its establishment thanks to the challenges that each employee has taken on. The company now has six times as many staff and 14 times as many departments as it started out with. Many employees were hired mid-career without knowing about the company, as we didn't have a long history.

    This project to summarize LINE Fukuoka's trajectory over the seven years since its establishment on our blog by conveying just how much each department in the company has evolved over that period of time began with the goal of sharing this message: although we never know what the future holds, the future we've pioneered by continually challenging ourselves is now.

    Judges’ comments

    ・Great care was taken in each step of the process, including advance information collection, conducting interviews that provided a deep-dive based on that information, creating articles that are cohesive and well-structured for smooth reading, and post-project surveys as well as the delivery of those results and summarized articles. The final product is fit for a special communication project to celebrate a company anniversary.

    We were overwhelmed by the passion and skill to complete this project with just two people, while effectively conveying its necessity and involving others.

    ・The passion in this project is amazing. The efforts taken in advance preparations clearly shines through in these interviews.

    ・The project, which provided a wide variety of special content as the company celebrated its seventh anniversary during a period of drastic change due to the pandemic and business integration, played a major role in contributing to internal communications.
